Heidi Klum on the cover of Marie Claire

Say what you will about Heidi, but I think she looks great on this cover, plus you know I'm a sucker for a bustier top!

Stella McCartney: A/W 2011 The Cocktail Dress

In the past I haven't paid very much attention to Stella McCartney and her collections each season. But, that's all about to change, now that I've seen these perfect little cocktail dresses (and outta this world jumpsuit). I absolutely love the pairing of the solid black with the sheer lace, and polka dots. Sexy, abstract, red carpet ready and tailored to perfection.

Mind Reader: Alber Elbaz

Just can't stop talking about this Lanvin collection for H&M. It's just too good. I feel like Albert Ebaez has been reading my diary (and every other womans' who loves feminine clothes). I love that he included a wedding dress (yes!) ,those amazing top hats, the chandeliers overhead, and the Rococo carpet. It is Parisian fabulousness at it's very best.

PS Ladies: The only reason for owning a poodle is so you can walk it while wearing that pink dress!

NYFW Spring 2011: Marc Jacobs

This collection is like something that Bernadette Peters from "The Jerk" would wear! Since she is one of my all time favorite characters, this luxurious look back at 70's glamour is so delightful. Marc Jacobs just knows how to do it and do it right. That chocolatey brown satin number is my favorite and the heels are SO disco fabulous. Sensual, feminine, with just the right amount of edge.

RESORT 2010: DVF

Diane Von Furstenberg is counting on some fun in the sun! Let's face it, sometimes it's nice to take a break from all the world's bad news. The oversized bow hats are silly and girly, but I like the relaxed flirtatious vibe. Super fun brights, vintage inspired swimwear, and gorgeous cocktail dresses feel right for this cruel summer...

RESORT 2010: Zac Posen

Oh, the wondrous colors that are summer!
This collection from Zac Posen is so delightful, feminine, and rich. Here are my picks for a summer getaway fantasy...

This is so much fun- the hat, the dye fade, the pink shoes!

A sexy long and lean suit- again love that hat!

This just speaks to me...

Avant Garde Little Black Dress

Can't get enough of these orange cigarette pants

Love the shape of this, but the clutch is what really does it for me.

Ahhh...the creme de la creme (a little Galliano) but so luscious!

NY Fashion Week: The Blondes 2010

Well, I have saved the best for last: The Blondes. They like to mix things up and keep the crazy level on high, but hey, that's why I love them! The over the top sparkle, layers of embellishment, eye popping corsets, well, you get the idea. I love the mix of hard core hardware with feminine shapes.  If Lady Gaga had any sense she would hire The Blondes as here lifetime atelier!

New York Fashion Week: Marc by Marc Jacobs 2010

I have been keeping up on all the latest from Bryant Park, which is funny because I never keep up on anything truly newsworthy (so I guess you can see where my priorities lie). So far I haven't found anything that has really inspired me until now. This Marc by Marc Jacobs collection (his lower priced line) is really doin' it for me. All of it is totally wearable, appealing to a variety of ages, uses plaid (one of my favorites) and will undoubtedly be copied by every low priced dept store across the US. Here are my favorites:

Gotta love a belted pea coat

Puff sleeves and chain purse: oh yes!

Graphic print + comfort

The perfect black trench coat

Love the print-love the shape+ the shades are fab
