RESORT 2010: Marc by Marc Jacobs

I'm really loving this collection. It's so wearable! The bow detailing, color scheme, and shoes are so adorable. These are my favorites, but honestly I could see myself in any of the collections' easy looks.

Nothin' like a "new" pair of shoes...

While browsing ebay's overwhelming selection of designer goods I can't afford, I came across a pair of used darling Marc Jacobs kitten heels from a few seasons back.  I just couldn't resist the heart studs, so I bid $3.00 and actually won the auction for $1.49 + shipping!!! When the box showed up on my door step my bargain shopping heart was all a flutter. Nothin' like a "new" pair of shoes to perk a girl up.

Voluptuous Picnic: Louis Vuitton FW 2010

I am in love with the vintage romance of the current Louis Vuitton collection. The looks are not only flattering and lady like, but they are weather appropriate for the season. The best part: bringing back the bombshell! Voluptous models (even a few familiar faces from Victoria's Secret) filled out the clothes beautifully and reminded me of the 90's supermodel-era. A return to a pointed toe heel, natural makeup, and belted waists made this collection feel luxurious. Break out the basket- this is one picnic I'll be sure to attend! 

New York Fashion Week: Marc by Marc Jacobs 2010

I have been keeping up on all the latest from Bryant Park, which is funny because I never keep up on anything truly newsworthy (so I guess you can see where my priorities lie). So far I haven't found anything that has really inspired me until now. This Marc by Marc Jacobs collection (his lower priced line) is really doin' it for me. All of it is totally wearable, appealing to a variety of ages, uses plaid (one of my favorites) and will undoubtedly be copied by every low priced dept store across the US. Here are my favorites:
