Lanvin continues to be one of my favorite brands. I was happy to see they brought back the stiletto heels with the ankle strap, the amazing draping and color schemes of previous collections, long leather gloves, and asymmetry. Perhaps most amazing was the jewelry!
Can't wait to see these pieces come to life in editorials to come.
Just can't stop talking about this Lanvin collection for H&M. It's just too good. I feel like Albert Ebaez has been reading my diary (and every other womans' who loves feminine clothes). I love that he included a wedding dress (yes!) ,those amazing top hats, the chandeliers overhead, and the Rococo carpet. It is Parisian fabulousness at it's very best.

PS Ladies: The only reason for owning a poodle is so you can walk it while wearing that pink dress!
My childhood heroines were all the baddest bitches of day and nighttime television. Alexis Colby, Erica Cane, Maddie Hayes, and Blanche Devereaux come to mind. These ladies were smart, sophisticated, snappy dressers and they all wore nude heels! I completely forgot about this trend until it recently started showing up on the red carpets and runways this season. Nude pumps complement brights, blacks and whites nicely. I sadly do not own one pair, but my birthday is coming up and I am definitely gonna fix that little problem!
Who doesn't love a sky high stiletto when done just right?
If I found myself suddenly wealthy, first I would hire a driver and then I would fill my walk in with rows of completely impractical, impossibly sexy heels for every occasion!
My dream St. Patrick's Day would include drinks and fries at The Black Sheep in Ashland, Oregon while dressed in the finest ensemble of Lanvin and a hand embellished vintage clutch! Here's hoping the road comes up to meet you...
Here is my latest dress...hot off the sewing machine! I found this fabric at an amazing local thrift store last year (which has since closed-dammit!) and I have been holding on to it -waiting for the inspiration to hit. Well- it finally did (a la Lanvin) and when the moment is right you have to strike! I'm really liking the way it turned out and I am already planning the next dress in a series...along with a laundry list of other ideas that need to be tried out. Do you love it? Tell me what you think...
