A label I had never heard of before: Ellery. This collection is called “Tenenbaums in the Tuileries”
Love these looks, plus the styling and the hair and makeup are fantastic. Very cool.

40 Volume to Freedom

A blonde bombshell is like a caged panther: powerful, beautiful, elegant, and unreachable. Like most brunettes I have longed to be a platinum blonde. About 5 years ago I managed to achieve a shade of gold even Gwen could be proud of! Eventually I had to admit defeat. I could not keep up with the maintenance, but I vowed to one day revisit the blonde. I am on my way now-my platinum highlights are quickly multiplying.

Jerry Hall: ICON

Sometimes I get very nostalgic for fashion past. Sometimes the glitz and shimmer of 70's and 80's fashion photography makes me wish for something more hard core and in your face for right now. Jerry Hall sums up the vibe of that era: sexy, unreachable, beautiful, girl next door. She was two parts Amazon and one part southern bell. Irresistible rock royalty, ruby lipped bombshell, care free party girl. Men wanted her, women wanted to be her- isn't that the definition of celebrity? I love all of these images, the one that really seems to sum her up is the portrait for Vanity Fair of her breastfeeding her baby. With both eyes on the camera she's saying: Look at me! I am a mother, a glamazon, rich, famous, and I'm flaunting my womanhood right in your face-and you like it!

Oh to be a blonde...

I have spent a few months as a blonde, and I loved it. But, I didn't love the maintenance. These femme fatals make it look so easy...
