Ellery

A label I had never heard of before: Ellery. This collection is called “Tenenbaums in the Tuileries”
Love these looks, plus the styling and the hair and makeup are fantastic. Very cool.

Alexander McQueen Fall 2011

Sarah Burton did a great job of keeping the exquisite detailing and drama alive in this latest collection for Alexander McQueen. I loved the boots and the amazing layers of fur and tulle and organza. The contrast of leather constraints against the flowing skirts and coats was a nice touch. It's like a Narnia wedding with a little S&M honeymoon. I know one thing, we haven't seen the last of these shoes!

Milan Fashion Week F/W 2011: Prada and Miu Miu

 Miu Miu
PRADA

Miucchia Prada knows how to start a trend. I think we are going to be seeing a lot more of those shoes bags, and sun glasses in the pages of the glossies and on the red carpet gang. There is something powerful and timeless about the glamour of the 1940's (miu miu) and lively and rebellious about the mod era of the 1960's (prada). As always the colors are rich and intense and the collections as a whole are cohesive and with purpose.
Aren't you drooling over those gold shoes??

Milan Fashion Week F/W 2011: Moschino

The chicken and rose hats kill me (in a GOOD way!), love the black and white, girl meets boy, librarian meets sex pot vibes. Moschino never disappoints. Gloves-yes! Hoop earrings- yes! Black eye liner- yes!
Power dressing forevah!

Milan Fashion Week F/W 2011: Dolce Gabbana

I am totally taken with this entire collection. The Boy George meets Madonna meets Bowie in a 70's cocktail of glam, is so perfect. I WANT those earrings, clutches, shoes, darling belt bags, and super cool coats. The suspenders with the open back shirt is genius, I love the androgyny and all the early 90's references.
Fresh.
Rock n Roll.
Dance.
Superstar.
