Turn up the Heat: Street Style Fashion Photo Shoot

I'm not gonna lie, this was one of my favorite photo shoots I have ever done!
Why? Because it was just so damn fun.
Yes, it was hot. Yes, it was a hectic early morning. Yes, my feet hurt later. But it was all so worth it! My friend and amazing photographer Lyn Rosten came down from Portland and we had an art date. No rules, no big plan, just trying stuff out and laughing along the way.
I am really happy I get the opportunity to share these with you. This shoot was all about personal style and how to incorporate Dark Pony Designs in your wardrobe in a variety of ways.
Hope you're feeling inspired.
XOXO

Dark Pony Designs Hair Bows at The Blogcademy San Francisco

So excited that Dark Pony Designs got to be part of this amazing Blogcademy class in San Francisco last weekend. Gala, Shauna, and Kat are some hard working, life loving ladies, who I admire greatly. They are the headmistresses who teach these international blogging workshops and they truly live the life they promote.
All the blog babes who were lucky enough to take part got a fabulous gift bag that included (among other things) big satin hair bows. It was really cool to get to see them in action via these beautiful photos. I will also be sponsoring the New York classes- so stay tuned for more on that!

Fund The New Dark Pony Designs Resort Collection on Kickstarter

This year I want to take Dark Pony Designs to the next level! Taking inspiration from the desperate need for a vacation to a tropical paradise (see my pinterest mood board), my goal is to create a 10 piece capsule collection of glamorous resort fashion that includes hand painted rhinestone jewelry and accessories in bold tropical color combinations.

The Street Style Tutu

https://www.etsy.com/listing/186071157/pastel-pink-tulle-tutu-knee-length?ref=shop_home_active_5

See it in motion!
See it in motion!
Y'all know how much I love tutus (obviously), so I set off to create a new version of the pastel pink  classic Dark Pony Designs tutu that is inspired by street style fashion.
This skirt is a little more casual, and ready to wear with a simple waist band and a little less volume.
Pairs perfectly with a simple tank, your favorite vintage t shirt, crop top, bustier, leotard, body suit, moto jacket, cardigan, or whatever you dream up. There really is no wrong way to wear this!
Ready for a day of shopping, a hot date, an art gallery reception, a photo shoot, or a special birthday dinner.
Snap one up for yourself and join this classic trend!
