Turn up the Heat: Street Style Fashion Photo Shoot

I'm not gonna lie, this was one of my favorite photo shoots I have ever done! 

Why? Because it was just so damn fun. 

Yes, it was hot. Yes, it was a hectic early morning. Yes, my feet hurt later. But it was all so worth it! My friend and amazing photographer Lyn Rosten came down from Portland and we had an art date. No rules, no big plan, just trying stuff out and laughing along the way. 

I am really happy I get the opportunity to share these with you. This shoot was all about personal style and how to incorporate Dark Pony Designs in your wardrobe in a variety of ways.

Y'all know how much I love tutus (obviously), so I set off to create a new version of the pastel pink  classic Dark Pony Designs tutu that is inspired by street style fashion.

My Crush With Eyeliner

 

My newest crush: Anna Dello Russo! She is the editor at large a Vogue Nippon and the apple of the street style fashion blogger Tommy Ton 's eye. He is currently exhibiting a collection of photos of her (for more details-  Style.com).  These are just some of my favorites. She will dress up and make a statement even at 9:00 am, I love that. Fearless dressing, just for the fun of it. These images sum up  my Dark Pony vision. Someday as time, resources, and skill allows; I would love to be able to produce ensembles that live up to this vibe.

Paris Fashion Week=Extraordinary.

Street Chic Style Hound= Tommy Ton

During the recent fashion weeks I became familiar with a killer photographer: Tommy Ton. He is Style.com's new pretty boy street fashion photographer, but he is also well known for his work on the Jack and Jill blog and for fashion editorials. I really love the beautiful color, quality, portraits, and sometimes abstract nature of his images. I find the work inspiring, and the opportunity to see real fashion off the runway is fascinating.
