Christine Olivier wears Dark Pony Designs

Christine Olivier and Nico Adams opened for Enrique Iglesias in Mexico City at a huge music festival.
Christine chose to wear the Dark Garden Bustier top for her big performance!
She looked gorgeous and the show looked epic.

Christine Olivier wears Dark Pony Designs

A few months ago I got an exciting email from Christine Olivier offering me the opportunity to have a Dark Pony Designs ensemble (bustier top and tutu skirt) featured on her album cover! I of course answered an enthusiastic YES.  I think the photos turned out totally gorgeous and you should check her out on itunes HERE.

Wake Me Up

Whilst shopping at Trader Joe's today I heard Wham's 80's hit "Wake Me Up Before You Go,Go". I had to restrain my immediate instinct to dance my heart out in the frozen foods aisle. It also reminded me of a night out a while back when I paid $5 to the juke box to hear that song. I will admit there were a couple of drinks involved. This video kind of represents every thing we hate about the 80's, but being a nerd at heart I can't help but love it.

Lady Gaga VS Beyonce

Ok- so I just want you all to know I really debated about watching the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards this year. I didn't even watch last year because 2007 was so disappointing. But I digress. I was really looking forward to seeing Lady Gaga perform, because I really haven't seen her do anything live. Boy, it was really a let down. Not only was it not visually stunning, it was weird, and boring. She's not a great singer, and really not a great dancer, and we all know what that means: she's riding the image. I do, however; respect her over the top fashion sense. It's nice to see somebody trying to shake things up. No boring strapless evening dresses for her. Do I love her choices? Not for the VMA's, but she has worn some other stuff I really liked.

On the other hand Beyonce- who I have never been a fan of-totally blew Lady Gaga out of the water with her performance of "Single Ladies". I didn't love either of her outfits but, she can sing, and she can dance! Her performance was visually stunning. To put it in the words of my husband (who hates to dance): "That was the best thing ever!"
This is a Lady Gaga look I really enjoyed.
VMA Performance Look
VMA Arrival Look- I like the collar...
VMA Audience Look
VMA Acceptance Look
VMA Performance Finale
VMA Arrival Look
VMA Performance Look- Not my favorite-but it got the job done.

That's just my opinion...tell me what you think!
