Eco Friendly Fame!
Yesterday I was pleasantly surprised to be included in the Etsy Finds Newsletter/Blog! I love the idea of taking the ordinary and transforming it into something to be coveted. I am planning more of these scarf bustiers and I hope they become a bestseller. Enjoy the article and support re-purposed products.

It always amazes me when I come across some of the incredible things our sellers are doing to make their businesses more eco friendly. Take Matthew Holdren for example, who builds furniture from salvaged and reclaimed wood from old homes being torn down in his New Orleans neighborhood. He even built his workshop and home from these same salvaged materials and hopes to run his shop off of solar power in the near future.
Andrea Crouse of gaiaconceptions is also focused on using natural materials like organic cotton, hemp and wool within her line of eco conscious clothing. She hand dyes all the fabrics using low-impact fiber reactive dyes or natural plant dyes in her North Carolina studio.

Target Torture
I went into Target the other day, just to get toilet paper, and made the mistake of "browsing" otherwise known as torturing myself for fun.
