Profusion

I can't call myself a Lea Michele fan, but she does have a good set of pipes. Her character on Glee is always dressed in frumpy school girl clothes that aren't always flattering. But seeing her in this editorial made me realize that she can be really striking. LOVE this flower background, everything about the dress, and the shoes make me think of Gucci era Tom Ford (one of my favorites).

Romancing the Past

Love this image (via Where the Lovely Things Are ) -it's beauty comes from a melancholy and sentimental sadness, but the colors are just right for spring.

Gasp! in the Garden...

Ahhh couture season...the fantasy and the fluff. This collection from Christian Dior as designed by one of my favorites, John Galliano, is in no way an abstract story. An Open Road...

My family and I were lucky enough to get out of town on a family vacation last week. We road tripped to Santa Cruz, then to the Hollywood Hills, up to Big Bear, back to Hollywood and then the long haul home. The boys were really good travelers, and despite a head cold, I felt free and easy. Along the way there was so much beauty, I just had to try and capture it.

New Handmade Items!

Finally getting some new items listed in my store this week. These are the latest from Dark Pony Designs.

This hair fascinator is called "Garden of Earthly Delights"...made from artificial flowers and a hair comb.

This is a recycled vintage cotton sweater that I made into a hot little sweater tank, that doubles as a mini dress...ooo la la!
