Super Spy

When I was a kid in the eighties I religiously watched the after school tv show "Square One" on PBS. I loved it. It was clever, had catchy songs, and did occasionally clarify some math concepts for me. The song that has stuck with me all these years is "Super Spy". Of course, it helps that it incorporates a sultry red head in stilettos and a trench coat. I realized after re-watching this clip, that this totally got in my head and has influenced my fashion sense. I love trench coats- especially when worn with a dress. It creates the illusion of being naked underneath. The trench coat is a statement of old hollywood glamour, sex appeal, and androgyny. All hail the trench...
